Stan Kinsman – CEO & Managing Director
Stan brings over 30 years of knowledge, skills and expertise to REM specializing in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electrical / Mechanical Process Engineering & Project Management, Project Feasibility Analysis, Power & Energy Management, Power Generation, Co-Generation, Heat Recovery, Emission Abatement as well as Permitting Processes. With Stan’s credentials along with his Business Ownership, Management experiences and years of leading teams on a number of large, specialized projects, Stan is well suited and qualified to lead the REM Team Internationally.
Ian Smythe – Director Business Development for North America & Caribbean
Ian has over 30 years and a wealth of experience working with large organizations to implement complex information management decisions which included, Telecom Project plans as well as the planning and execution of Strategic Business Systems. Ian has also been responsible for pioneering a number of Industry Service Solutions such as, Equipment Design, Call Centre Cabling & Programming, Electrical / Product Integration and Commissioning of Equipment. Ian’s experiences and business relationships Internationally are a tremendous assist for the ongoing development of the REM business model.
Ed Niewinski – COO REM-ENTECH Canada Inc.
Ed has over 25 years in Senior Management roles with a significant amount of experience specializing in start-up companies that involved successfully designing and building several Industrial Projects such as a Greenfield Aluminum Re-Melt Casting Plant and a Greenfield Stamping & Welding Plant. Ed also brings to the organization the skills and abilities in business turn-a-rounds where he successfully negotiated the relocation of a Highly-Engineered Manufacturing Facility from Germany to Canada and worked on establishing an Engineering, Packaging and Distribution Facility in Germany. Ed’s engineering, project and manufacturing background along with his International experiences add a great deal of value as REM continues to develop and build new Facilities.
Doug Starr – Executive Vice President
Doug brings to the REM team over 25 years of business knowledge, skills and experience in Senior Management positions both Nationally and Internationally providing Fiscal, Strategic and Operational leadership to both existing and new Business Units. Expertise in building and developing Senior Management teams, preparing and executing on ‘Strategic’ Business, Financial and Human Resource Plans as well as the ongoing development of Corporate Cultures & Values through strong Leadership to drive growth & profitability which ultimately contributed to consistent ‘top-line’ and ‘bottom-line’ budgeted performance for the businesses annually. Doug’s strategic business, financial, leadership and team building background coupled with his international experiences brings the know-how to help lead the growth and development of the REM business model into new markets.
